The State of New Hampshire appears poised to maintain the democratic streak it has held since 2014. The white vote accounts for a majority in every state, but that contrast is even more pronounced in this competition as they represent 87 percent of the vote. Curiously, Hassan (D) is leading the white voting bloc in most of the polls. Where opinions split is along the lines of gender. The line between the opinions of men and women in the state is drawn almost symmetrical across these groups. Where an average of 54% of men support Bolduc (R) and 39% support Hassan (D), 56% of women support Hassan (D) and 34 support Bolduc (R). The almost exact mirroring of these two groups in both size and opinion makes this race a reasonable margin for either candidate to win. However, it appears that in New Hampshire, it is the will of women that will make the final decision. As a result of these findings, we rate the senatorial race of New Hampshire to lean Democrat, with Hassan carrying the state by 2.3%.
